A young family with a mid-century modern home was open to the idea of front yard patio living. Nestled within beds of native plants and grasses, low limestone walls make the patio feel recessed and comfortable. In the backyard, a covered patio with storage, a sprawling porcelain tile floor, and a raised bamboo deck create additional living space. We included a vegetable garden and a zoysia lawn play space to complete this family’s outdoor zones.
